Our Retirement Party
Here we are at the fabulous retirement party that Parkminster United Church threw for us on May 12th, 2007. Thanks to all of you who were able to come, to take an active role, to send your good wishes, and/or to add to the "Memory Book" that we will cherish forever. We have been so deeply blessed by the lives we have shared in ministry together with you.
T-minus 3 weeks to launch!
The trip prepartions are well underway ... we are testing out our new Blog to keep everyone up to date on our progress . Andrew has been a big help in this regard. The 'take off' is scheduled for September 16th, just one day after the wedding of our nephew, Stephen Moffat, in Oshawa. From there we will head to Prince Edward County and on through the Townships to the Maritimes.
It's been 35 years since just the two of us headed off for a camping adventure .. a time equidistant to the lapse between these two pictures! Make the journey with us around North America this year - both vicariously in picture and prose and spiritually - as we hit the road in our BT Cruiser. Stay tuned. With love, Peter and Elizabeth
